Linda Edna Cardellini's parents include businessman Wayne David Cardellini and Lorraine (Hernan). She was born in Redwood City in California. Her parents are of Italian (from her maternal great-grandfather), Irish (from her mother), German, English, and Scottish descent. Lily James (born Lily Chloe Ninette Thomson on the 5th of April 1989) is an English actor from England. She was trained in acting at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London and began her career on the British TV show Just William (2010). Following her breakout performance as Lady Rose MacClare on the period drama Downton Abbey from 2012-2015 her debut role was in the movie fantasy Cinderella in the year 2015. James went on to portray Countess Natasha Rostova in the television adaptation of War & Peace (2016) and starred in several movies, including the action film Baby Driver (2017), the period dramas Darkest Hour (2017), The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society (2018) as well as The Dig (2021), and the musicals Mamma Mia! There We Go Again (2018) and Yesterday (2019). Her portrayal of Pamela Anderson for the biographical show Pam & Tommy in 2022 was recognized with Golden Globes as well as Primetime Emmy Awards.
